my best friend's wedding

Assalamu'alaikum...My bestest friend, Sue, got married this morning. Unfortunately for me, I had to work today, so I couldn't be at the akad-nikah. Sigh...But I'll definitely be going to the reception tomorrow afternoon. Wouldn't miss it for the world. :) There's the opportunity to meet all the other Oceansiders as well. I wonder who will be there tomorrow?

I'm so happy for Sue, but I'm getting depressed at the same time. Feel left behind. Will I end up being an old maid?! That's such a horrifying thought somehow. :P How long will it be until I actually get to tie the knot, you think?
